Last week GoPro released a new series of HERO3 Cameras.

They are the most versatile sports cameras in the world. If you are diving, snorkelling, fishing, spearfishing or just enjoying the outdoors you can capture the treasured moments with incredible clarity and sound quality on the GoPro HERO3. 

 

Three Editions have been released:

The Wi-Fi enabled HERO3: Black Edition is the most advanced and elite GoPro, ever. No expense was spared during its development, resulting in a GoPro that is 30% smaller, 25% lighter and 2x more powerful than previous models. The GoPRo Black Edition is eearable and gear mountable, waterproof to sixty metres, capable of capturing ultra-wide 1440p 48fps, 1080p 60 fps and 720p 120 fps video and 12MP photos at a rate of 30 photos per second, the HERO3: Black Edition is the world's most versatile and adaptable camera. There is a built-in Wi-Fi, GoPro App compatibility and the included Wi-Fi Remote (which previously been a separate $109.95 accessory and now included in the price) makes the HERO3: Black Edition all the more versatile, still. So you can capture epic footage and snap shots of your adventures. The clarity is simply exceptional making the GoPro camera the most elite sports camera on the market today.

The GoPro Hero3 Silver Edition possesses the same high performance specs as the famous HD HERO2 camera it supersedes, however it is twenty-five percent lighter, thirty percent smaller and has built-in Wi-Fi.  The HERO3: Silver Edition is wearable and gear mountable, waterproof to sixty metres, and is capable of capturing ultra-wide 1080p 30 fps and 720p 60 fps video plus 11MP photos at a rate of 10 photos per second.

GOPro HERO3 Silver Edition

The HERO3: White Edition boasts the same high performance specs as the Original HD HERO camera it replaces, yet it has built-in Wi-Fi, new UI and is 30% smaller and 25% lighter. The HERO3: White Edition is wearable and gear mountable, waterproof to 60 metres, and is capable of capturing 1080p 30 fps and 720p 60 fps video plus 5MP photos at a rate of 3 photos per second.
